Huaraz, Peru, 31 August 2012 - The documentary film Trou de Fer - The Iron Hole, was awarded the "Best film" in the Alpinist and Rock climbing category, at the 8th International Mountain Film Festival INKAFEST in Peru (28.8.-1.9.2012). It's already the fifteenth award for this film which tells the story of a journey of five friends, who have undertaken to overcome one of the world's toughest canyons.

The jury appreciated especially the "great quality of the scenario and images" of the film and in particular "the interesting perspective on an expedition with extreme obstacles." The Grand Prix of the festival was awarded to Anson Fogel and his film Cold.
