SYNOPSIS
Hundreds of years ago the Tibetans led their herds of yaks through the dangerous Himalayan paths to Nepal the southern part of the Himalayas. One of these routes led through the Sikkim Himalayas to the part called Ghunza.The Ghunza region is the homeland of Tibetans. In the north is Kanchenjunga, alone, with the thrones of the gods. It protects Ghunza with high walls of ice in order to keep life as it was for centuries. ”Their Home is Below Kanchenjunga”- a documentary film about Tibetans living near the third highest mountain in the world.
