From 22nd to 26th October, the 34th International Festival of Sustainable Development Films Ekotopfilm 2007 took place in Bratislava during 22 - 26 October 2007. Its main goal is to present the world’s latest film production oriented towards permanently sustainable development, to capture peoples’ attention, inform, amuse and mostly to increase people’s interest in the surrounding world. A five-day film marathon presented 121 pictures from 26 countries to experts as well as to the general public. The International Jury decided to award the Grand Prix - Prize of the Government of the SR - to the Italian film “Born to Fly”, which was entered in the competition by its director, Marco Visalberghi. The adventure documentary “Tepuy - A Journey to the Depths of the Earth” was awarded with the prestigious Prize of the President of the SR.
