Russians awarded The Polarman

The film festival "People and Environment" was established by the Russian Filmmakers Union and the East-Siberian branch of the Russian Filmmakers Union. From more than 100 documentaries from 14 countries all over the world the festival comittee selected 14 competitive and 26 non-competitive films. More than 5000 people watched them during the five days.
Grand Prix went to Anastasia Lapsui for 11 images of the person. Our film The Polarman has got two prices: Award of Russian Academy of Sciences and the Russian Geographical Society, as well as Special Jury Award.
