The fifth Montreal International Adventure Film Festival (FIFAM) taking place in the biggest French speaking cities of Canada came to its end a few days ago. The latest works of professional film-makers and amateurs from all around the world have been presented here. One of the films in competition has also been the documentary film of Pavol Barabáš Pururambo. The five-member jury awarded Pururambo the ADVENTURA Prize- Man and the environment. It is the 15th award for this film.
Films in competition were thematically dedicated to mountaineering, water sports, nature, cycling, caving, animals, extreme activities etc. Except of the projections, the festival prepared many interesting conferences, workshops, discussions and exhibitions. Visitors could completely sink into big adventures of travelers and discoverers.
