During the first week of December, the ninth Bratislava International Film Festival was held. 170 films of different provenance, genre and themes were screened from 30th of November until 7th of December in five cinemas. The Slovak films section, which presents domestic cinematography for the previous year, forms part of the festival every year. The IFF presented five medium-length films and nine short films, including two films from the director Pavol Barabáš.
