The viewers chose Pavol Barabáš's film, High Tatras, as the best

On Wednesday, 10th of October 2007, a five-day film marathon of the 15th International Festival of Mountain Films was opened by the documentary by Pavol Barabáš and Tomáš Hulík “High Tatras - A Wilderness Frozen in Time”. In this 52 minute long film, the authors showed the general public the real values that are hidden in our highest mountains. The film was made for the Austrian company ORF. Its TV premiere is planned for Tuesday, 16th of October 2007 at 20.15 in the Universum series. In Poprad, it gained its first success when it won the Public Prize from a competitive field consisting of 36 films from 14 countries.
